Oulu South Region Population Structure
Oulu South is a region with about 90 000 people, or approximately 1,7 per cent of all the population in Finland. Including Raahe subregion, about 125 000 people live in the impact area.

Oulu South region population is expected to remain nearly at its present level until 2030. Most favourable is the demographic trend in the Ylivieska subregion, where the population in 2030 is expected to be about 5,8 per cent higher than in 2010.
